“Honestly, adding female soldiers to character customization wasn’t about trying to lure more people into the game. It was actually just about acknowledging the people who already playt our game,” Rubin says.
SERIOUSLY I was so thrilled when I saw they had female characters in COD ghosts—and it got even better… they weren’t hypersexualized. Props to Infinity Ward. In my experience playing COD online for over 8 years now and the population of females gaming in COD is a lot larger than most people realize. This truly was a lovely gesture and not done so in a way to attract media and praise… like most people who choose to incorporate female characters, hire females, ect. in an attempt for praise. A million thumbs up for this. :)
